Privacy policy

Tuned Out Tinnitus is run by Matt, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. This page explains what happens to your details.

What I collect

If you sign up for the free guide, I collect your first name and email address. If you buy something, the checkout collects what it needs to take payment and send your download. This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Why

To send you the guide and occasional emails about living with tinnitus. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. Purchase details are used to deliver what you bought and to meet tax rules.

Who holds it

Email sign-ups are stored by Kit (kit.com), my email provider. Purchases go through Payhip, with payments handled by Stripe or PayPal. The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Each processes data on my behalf or under its own privacy policy. I never sell or share your details with anyone else.

How long

Until you unsubscribe, after which your details are removed from the mailing list. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing tunedouttinnitus@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
